Have you ever heard of the “Tapping” technique for chronic pain?

My beautiful and caring sister shared with me some information about the “Tapping Solution” which helps alleviate chronic pain. I decided that I should pay it forward because many chronic pain sufferers are looking to find anything that can bring us some relief. Broke out with an itchy rash

Finally up and running. Our family’s United front against Sarcoidosis. We’re fighting for a cure!

To add along with my excruciating pain in my swollen joints, especially in both hands; now I have broke out in an itchy rash. Oatmeal bath, take me away. The question is, who do I turn to. I owe my dermatologist and I am afraid of them requesting monies that I don’t have prior to seeing me. I know it’s illegal, but the embarrassment is something I can’t handle right now. Where’s publishers clearinghouse when you need them.

Please pray for myself and my family.

The Costs of Getting Well…

FB_20150224_20_26_32_Saved_PictureAs most of us budget our finances to include our medical expenses, are you finding it harder to cover those that traditional insurance do not cover? I chose to seek out a holistic approach to my wellness plan. I receive acupuncture, chiropractic as well a naturopathic care. Traditional medical insurance only covers 12 visits for chiropractic treatments. Acupuncture and naturopaths are not covered. Out of pocket costs are extreme. You have to wonder why if these treatments could help us achieve a state of normalcy in our lives, move us on and away from pain medicines; basically giving us back our health. Why wouldn’t those modalities be included in a wellness package? I tried a go fund campaign to help offset my medical expenses but that failed. I want to live a normal life but this disease has taken that away from me. An example of why I have these questions is this, my Medicare prescription coverage changed at the beginning of the year. All of the prescriptions prescribed for me by specialist’s to combat or deal with the symptoms of Sarcoidosis were denied pending an appeal. All of my doctors wrote letters to explain why the drugs were medically necessary and the insurance company still denied them. Thank God for my husband’s insurance. They covered them but the copayments were higher. All and all, there are many that may not have a fall back insurance as I have. What happens to them. This is why it is important to educate the insurance companies about Sarcoidosis. We are all striving to beat this disease and we have to fight for the inclusion of holistic care to be considered as a part of our wellness care.

Need Strength

Today, I feel totally drained today. No energy and waves of nausea. I have been drinking apple ginger water all morning. Got to get myself together. So much housework to do and no strength. God help me!

Apples and Cinnamon

Hello everyone,
My last post explained how I have been feeling these last few weeks.
I’ve been to see my Rheumatologist and she confirmed that my blood work shows that my flare-ups with both my Sarcoidosis and RA are consistent with my symptoms. So she increased my dosage of Leflunomide to 20mg a day and suggested that when I see my Pulmonologist he do the same with my dosage of Prednisone. I’m already taking 15mg a day. I really don’t want the increase to happen, so I asked around to get suggestions on how to alleviate this pain more holistically and I have taken their suggestions to heart. So now I take Tumeric tabs 3 times a day and I drink apple cinnamon water all day. It’s great!😊 You need 1 apple, 1 cinnamon stick, ice, water and a 2 quart pitcher. Cut up the apple and add it to the pitcher with ice cubes, cinnamon stick and water. That’s it! 😃 It’s great, tasty and nutritious. It boosts your metabolism, provides you with vitamins and nutrients while eliminating your sugar intake.
It’s also suppose to help with the joint pain, but we will see how that goes.

Okay, my hands are throbbing so I’m going to cut this short. Take care everyone and
I’ll keep you in my prayers.
